The original 1823 Acri birth record lists the name of the child only as Marianna Perri.

In addition, there is an 1857 Acri marriage record for Angelo Maria Scaglione and Marianna Perri. Marianna's parents were Giuseppe Perri and Cherubina Alessio. That record gives Marianna's date of birth as 03 Oct 1823. It also states gli sposi sono celibi (the spouses are single). If Marianna and Teresa were one person, Marianna would be listed as a widow on this marriage record since she had been previously married in 1841. This shows Teresa's marriage processetti likely used the birth record of Teresa's sister, Marianna.
