The 1840 Acri death record for Vittoria Pane lists her parents but not her spouse. There is no direct evidence that the Vittoria Pane who died in Acri in 1840 was the Vittoria Pane who was the wife of Natale Cozzetto.²¹²⁰

There are two pieces of indirect evidence that they are the same person. First, the 1848 death record of Nunziata Cozzetto, daughter of Natale Cozzetto and Vittoria Pane, lists her mother as deceased by 29 Sep 1848. Second, there does not appear to be another death record for a Vittoria Pane who died between 1818 (when daughter Maria Cozzetto was born) and 1848 when Nunziata Cozzetto died.²¹²⁴
